The Tailgate Group team comes from all over the southeast. Through our love of college and professional football and the growing popularity of tailgating, the concept came to life. Our team works hard throughout the fall, and occasionally gets to have a little fun, usually after the games! But we owe it all to our customers that come back for more every year.
Colton founded Tailgate Group in 2011 while he was a student at Ole Miss. Since its conception in ‘The Grove’, the number of fans wanting a turnkey tailgating experience across The South has grown exponentially. Benford has propelled Tailgate Group’s growth by focusing on strengthening existing client relationships, digital marketing campaigns, and forming University & private partnerships. Colton enjoys the demand in the fall of running this company in some of his favorite southern college towns!
Kyle, an Athens, GA native and passionate Georgia Bulldog fan, has mastered over the years a seamless tailgating operational program that's has helped better our customer experience. His ability to build relationships and put a well organized team together has helped eliminate the hassle for fans wishing for an easier, relaxing, stress free experience on game day. We are lucky to have him on the team!
Anna is an Ole Miss graduate and huge Rebel football fan. From her experience tailgating in the Grove and visiting other college football scenes, she is knowledgeable of all the preparatory work, resources and attention to detail necessary to produce an amazing tailgate. She thoroughly enjoys helping fans achieve an entertaining, unforgettable, and effortless game day experience. She believes “fall is for football” but in other seasons you may find her at the beach or spending time with family & friends— including her dog, Titan!
Samantha is an Atlanta native who loves cheering on her Auburn Tigers in the fall. She is in charge of all of Tailgate Group's social media channels. Samantha loves tailgating with her sorority sisters and traveling to different places to watch the Tigers play!

An Auburn grad, Fuller is extremely familiar with the tailgating hotspots across the Deep South. Growing up traveling to college football games all over the southeast, he learned at an early age about the time and effort that goes into a good tailgate party. Because of his up-to-the-minute sports knowledge, great work ethic, and strong network of friends and repeat customers, Fuller was the obvious choice to run the Gulf South Region for Tailgate Group! When Fuller isn't busy, he's more than likely to be found hitting the links getting in a quick round of 18!
Oriel is an Oxford, Mississippi native who is very familiar with the amount of hard work it takes to operate the weekend Grove tent set up process. Being a highly recognized athlete in high school, Oriel understands the value of hard work. He has helped Tailgate Group’s Oxford game day operation become more organized, efficient, and enjoyable over the years . In his freetime he enjoys time with his many friends in Oxford, and keeping up to date with the college football world!
Sidd helps us show you what a good tailgating event, wherever that might be across the southeast, looks like. His online marketing experience and creative skills have propelled Tailgate Group’s growth to many markets. He is always actively exploring new ways to promote and market Tailgate Group's products and services to tailgate enthusiast across the South! His love for sports and having a good time, always puts the team in a good mood!
